Sailing all of next week, intending Islay/Jura/Gigha, maybe Tayvallich, weather permitting, including checking out the pub on Sanda on the way out and maybe the way back.
Weather not permitting, we'll be in the Kyles/ Loch Fyne. Are we likely to bump into anyone from Scuttlebutt?

Hello Superstrath
With luck I will be out off Toward/Rothesay (White E-Boat with blue Celtic knotwork along side and Celtic dragon at bow) and Donald Beaton has Rebel over at Kames. If you dont get out of the Clyde give us a wave (and beer/money/food/spare Oyster 60 etc)

Regards
Cameron

Be at Kip on friday night for CCC Opening muster race to Tighnabruaich.

Moorings will be busy at Kames and Tighnabruaich on saturday night due to the race.

You'll have to let me know what beer the pub in Sanda has!

We'll keep clear of the Kyles over the weekend then. I promise a full report on the beer - I trust it is real, but turnover is bound to be slow - it's a long way to go to drink some hideous mixed-gas muck!
Do we know if the pontoons in Tarbet are fixed yet? Don't plan tp go, but if the weather dictates.....

Kyles will only be busy saturday night.

Tarbert - well last I heard was that the pontoons should be ready by week before the Scottish Series.

I race with the Racing secretary of the CCC on a wednesday night so he should have the most up to date news - or a tremendous headache!!!!

Will update on thursday.

Regards

Donald

hi Donald
I have a friend that is working on the pontoon at Tarbert. I will get an update from him on progress and let you know. By the way he does a lot of the mooring work and welding/diving work in the Clyde

Pending a late forecast change, "Flap" will be heading for Lamlash, Campbeltown, and up the Kilbrannan Sound for Lochranza, then back to Troon.
Sanda is a possible if conditions smile.
Or maybe I'll just dream about it while I get on with the domestics.

Tan sails, white topsides, timber coachhouse.

You may well encounter the cruised for distressed gentlefolk taking place in that very area, leaving Kilmelford on Friday at the crack of sparrowsfart and heading down to Jura/Colonsay/islay/Gigha/Tayvallich...we need a longer weekend.

All those posts, all that organisation - and it's only for a weekend!? I thought this was a summer cruise starting early.
A weekend!
I'm off to fit a winch and argue with the chandler over windlass spares. I'll keep an eye out for you all next week.
We're a bit obvious, I think we're the only Snowgoose in Scotland. (I'm waiting to be corrected). Cream, with a tan genny, three little girls and a commotion wherever we go.

Ahh - unfortunately we will have to avoid you. We will have Parahandy with us and he tends to frighten little children. He has a strange habit of licking his eyebrows that sent three weans screaming fer their mithers in Kerrera last year
