In preparation for our upcoming delivery trip, I said to SWMBO:

"I hate to tell you this but I am not going to shave for the next seven days"

She responded with "I hate to tell you this but I think you are in for a bit of a shock!"

I think she means that it might be whiter than the one I shaved off about 12 years ago.

Some like Searush are clearly proud of their white whiskers.

Is it the socially acceptable in yachting circles to have a beard which has 'faded'?

Not sure about faded...... but 'pathetic goatie tash' seems to be doing the guy on page 77 of November Yachting World no harm......
