Sailorman: missing in action?

He seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth.
We still are in touch on a regular (almost daily) basis, yet I have not heard from him since Wednesday.
He stopped posting on YBW around the same time.
I tried calling his mobile a few times, but it went straight to voicemail.
Any seen or heard from Roger lately? Thinking in particular of any Fox's berth holders who might post on here.

Tnx all eho have set me kind messages . I qint done yet.still scheeming how to keep boatingbut not sailinga stinkpot my be on the cards

Welcome back Roger!!! I was a a live aboard in the USA when I had a stroke. SWMBO insisted we move on dirt as 47 ft mobo too big to handle. we stayed ashore but bought a 36ft oceanis centre cockpit saily thing again. Then when Brexit and trump came along and gun incidents in Florida increased we ran home to blighty and are now living on a 12 metre mobo in IOW. We have twin engines and bow and stern thrusters but still yearn for a proper boat with flappy sails. Don't confuse mobos with easy, high sides lack of decent keel can cause as many problems as they solve as well for the agility challenged never mind financially constrained.

pm me your number if you want to chat about options ?

This is welcome news. Your spelling has improved greatly, presumably something to do with some dysphasia that you have acquired. This is not unusual, and I look forward to improving my decoding skills.

Had aphasia too after my third stroke.
That and a stammer.

Five years (3 of which retired) down the road and I'm pretty much back to normal.

"We are now cruising at a level of two to the power of twenty-five thousand to one against and falling, and we will be restoring normality just as soon as we are sure what is normal anyway." Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

After the deaths of my wives, the concept of a "new normal" was very helpful. I was married consecutively not concurrently!

I have seen multiple marriages described as consecutive polygamy. Present company excepted, of course.

All the best for a speedy recovery Roger.

Don’t know Roger personally but today is the 9th anniversary of the loss of my adopted Grandpa. So on his behalf where ever he is now (was at sea during g WW2), and mine get well soon.

Many of us will never meet and will have to agree to disagree on a lot of things but I still think it’s a pretty close group of people here.

Hurry back!

Wdizdom made me smile?

Update:

Roger is stable and being fed via a drip. He was able to speak a little yesterday, which is good. Still immobile on the left side. Mrs Sailorman the only permitted visitor. Fingers crossed.
Nose tube as the food was crap as i had to have all mushed up due to swallowing issues. They ended up witg liquid feed via the nose tub e and that gave me the most horrendious poos. A real bad experence indeed 26 bedpans i one 24 hr period
