In my personal experience in sailing, I have found that confidence is the key to happiness.
If you know exactly what you are supposed to be doing and how you are supposed to be doing it, there is no need for raised voices and everyone generally has a much better time.
Our partners are not always our best teachers when it comes to sailing, or come to think of it driving, skiing or anything else! Its very easy to take things personally and lose your temper before you get a chance to learn what they were trying to teach you in the first place.
I think the best way to learn is with a small group of people of similar ability that have the same goals. And the most important factor is- no pressure!
So if your a husband that would like to take the stress out of life on the water, or you're a wife that wants to show the men how its done I'd like to hear what you think.
