I think that despite this being a sailing oriented forum there is nothing wrong with discussing topics that affect us all as long as we don't overdo it.Besides I enjoy conversations better if I have something in common with the persons I'm talking to.

This sort of posting is always very disappointing. Leaves an unpleasant taste in the mouth, especially as many readers will love sailing because it lets them escape for a while from the slightly nasty ego of politics and of those who cannot resist political statements on a recreational forum.

Besides, many people who read here will like George Bush, so why do you wish to offend them with uneccessary comment in an inappropriate place?
