A few days ago my Rule 1100 automatic bilge pump went peculiar. Instead of sampling every 2.5 minutes it began sampling every 12 - 15 seconds. The result was a flat battery. As I no longer had the receipt from the supplying chandler I contacted ITT(Jabsco) who asked me to send the pump to them which I did. I expected to get an estimate for repair. What I got, virtually by return post, was a brand bew pump - no questions asked and no bill to pay.
I was very impressed with this high level of service and felt it was a good experience to relay to others. And, NO, I do not own shares in this company.
