Ive never seen a blue whale though ?? would it be similar size to the plastic toy ones?
Then we have "the weight of 21 double decker buses" ? great, but ive no idea how heavy a bus is, and would that be full or empty?
There is a system in place that uses metres for length and kg or tonnes for weight. wouldnt it make more sense to quote that ?
Maybe the next anchor i buy will have its weight equivalent to 39 fluffy kittens?

Whilst rivers like the ganges are used to dump everything then the waste entering the ocean is never going to subside? Micro plastics are turning up everywhere from the frozen poles to the bottom of the deepest oceans..

Desperately trying to edge back towards navigation,
Good luck with that as it seems we prefer talking rubbish rather than rubbish in the sea ?
I have a tissot sail watch which can do what you suggest, although I think the whale would need to be at anchor for it to work ?
