My only concern is that that you don't take this thread too far off topic simply to satisfy your, for want of a better expression, vendetta. My interest is the Rocna saga which certainly has been taking some fascinating twists and turns.

I do know that GNK has a remarkable ability to morph himself under several aliases on threads such as these - which is why I am a huge fan of people posting under their own names, and / or disclosing who they are. So, you all know who you are talking to (see above link) - who am I talking to in real life?

I don't have a vendetta - I am simply sharing an alternative (and evidence-based) perspective on GNK, and opiniing that he has been as dishonest with the marine industry over the Rocna saga as he has been with every other individual and commercial organisation in his entire life.

Again, what people believe most often hinges on why they need to believe it.

I'm all for civil engagement - as long as we are going to include logical consistency in the debate?

Grant may be a less than perfect saint and indeed may have a lot coming to him. However the data supplied to us and the boating world even if movated by the worst motives is still shown to be substantially true.

There are those who have supported rocna and were quite vocal acting the "devils advocate". Now let you come forth and support Grant with the same devils advocate style.

At least do not assassinate him as a tool to discredit the wrongdoings of Rocna/Holdfast/CMP. Start a new thread is your dare to deal with Grant's creditability.

You could answer some questions such as:

Are in communications with anyone associated with Rocna anchors?
Are you receiving any form of compensation for your attacks on Grant?
What do you expect to acheive by posting here in this forum?
Who exactly are you?

This site is provided FOC for the boating community to discuss boaty things but the owners have to take care that things don't put them in a difficult legal position. Whilst we all understand that you have a grievance, it would be a great pity if this thread got pulled because you went too far.

Has it? Or did he tell the truth once and then everything else he's said went unchecked because we all took him at his word after that.

I wonder if someone could put all the evidence together in one place. I suspect it might be very limited.

Certainly, the Rina-Rocna accusation looks to be false.

Please feel free to add to the debate, but to be honest you're coming across like a bull in a china shop, and as we'd all admit, there's been too much bull already on this subject. If it helps - we like facts and we like discussion, we dislike arrogance and invective, these two things result in threads being pulled which I'm assuming is no part of your game plan.

He deliberately and callously compromised the wellbeing of my father; placed my business banking reputation at risk with my bank; put my home at risk, and thus my family's wellbeing as well.

I can deal with being "pissed off" - what I won't tolerate is any of the above, and I supect neither would anyone else reading this thread.

Whilst I appreciate you feel you have been grossly wronged by GK I would also like to add my voice to others in asking you to post your remarks and thoughts about GK on another thread please.

This whole thread is about the very serious issues regarding the possibility of many anchors being used which could bend in use and then actually threaten peoples lives.

If you continue to post here we run a real risk of this thread being pulled which is grossly unfair to those who have taken so much time and effort in piecing together a complicated jigsaw puzzle and more importantly, would remove a source of information which has real safety connotations to many innocent people.
