Does anyone know where I can find a replacement opening handle/latch for the galley counter top door on a fridge (the boat is a Hanse 370, 2007 build)? Ours was damage when a heavy object was placed on top of it when it was open causing the latch to bend and breaking the closing spring. I suspect a like for like replacement isn't going to be very easy, but is there somewhere I could find a similar latch that sits flush with the counter top when closed?

Ant suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I assume you have tried Hanse or the Hanse ealer and had no luck. Youn can find latches similar to that whick are often use for lift sole boards, they are not the same profile so you may have to adapt the fridge top.

Would something like this do? No spring, but gravity's on your side there.
