Repair of folding propeller

I have a bronze folding propeller, similar to Gori, with damaged teeth of the gear that synchronises the opening of the blades.

Is it possible to rebuild the teeth by, say, brazing? They shouldn't normally be loaded, but the prop was fouled by a rice sack that stripped some of the teeth. Now there is a possibility that one of the blades doesn't open fully.

I could always grind the synchronising teeth off ......
