What do I order for Raymarine st2000 please? What I google costs about 3/4 of new pilot cost.

If you are handy with a soldering bolt you can by a 12v 4 channel wireless remote control on eBay for less than 10 pounds. You can wire it into the auto/standby/+10/-10. There's just enough room to fit the receiver pcb inside the unit. Pics on this post

I don't doubt it's a better system than the crap Raymarine and Simrad make but the complete unit for the Pelagic is about $1000. How much is a st2000 in the USA?

Anything that emits Seatalk autopilot messages - from Raymarine there have been a number of wired options over the years and two wireless ones, all should be compatible AFAIK and might come up on eBay.
There have also been a number of hobby projects published, and at least one person (I think in New Zealand or Australia?) selling such "hobby grade" units commercially.
