Reeds Almanac - which version...

Oh - I haven't looked at the huge tome for years so I didn't realise there was a difference. That's disappointing. Can you remember what was missing?

I tend to use the actual Admiralty tidal atlases rather than the small reproductions in the almanac though, so it doesn't affect me directly.

Just checked, my full volume from 2014 has a tidal stream map for each section (eg South west, Central, South East Coast, etc) while my Channel Almnac from last year makes do with just the one for the entire area covered.

The main frustration was to keep looking for where it would have been in the full one!

Reeds Western - Which I have trained my newphew to buy me every year ( as he can sit in his armchair and order it and pay for it with out moving too much )

My first 'after Christmas' job is to take great pleasure in ripping out every page of 'adverts both sides' - which lightens it considerably.

For me - based at Weston s Mare - this includes the whole of Ireland - all of Western Scotland and as far down as Padstow.

Do they do the full Reeds in digital format ? Jusy stick it on a card seems a lot lighter ?

Same here - though I think they're wise to this and most of the advert pages now have something vital on the back to stop you ripping them out :)

The bound version does sop up a lot of condensation, if kept on board on a shelf/locker where 'weeps' or 'conden' or collects. Then its life-span is rather reduced.
