Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning.

Agreed that the dust can give a reddish tinge to the sky, but the bright red sunrise/set has little to do with it. That dust is awful stuff, very fine and gets everywhere. Nice photo btw.

Agree - that dust is awful; at the peak of the storm on Lanza vis was down to about 300m, everything everywhere was coated in a fine layer of brick red dust, you had a strange metallic taste in your mouth, and many people were wearing face masks. IIRC it lasted about 3 days. We were there for a bit of winter sun! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
