Red boards!!!!

Bear in mind that he was actually ingesting the river water for hours and days on end , and that the blog and the papers tend to 'big up' things like that.

I've been on the river all my life , swum in it a lot when younger ( when I would argue it wasn't as clean as it is now ) and worked in close proximity to the water for 10 years now , my hands are in river water every day and no doubt some of it gets in my mouth from time to time ( when you lot throw me wet ropes etc ) , and I've never been ill.

Obviously if you are swallowing gallons of it , you've got a much higher chance of ingesting something , but normal people don't get ill from the river.
 
The sewage outlet just above spade oak was 'broken' for quite a while last year.it took complaints from people below the outlet before it was even noticed,addressed by thames water
 
I cleaned my hull this summer while she was in the water and went down with something that knocked me for six. I've no proof it came from the river, but no one else in my family was ill.
