Ive purchased a NASA ais engine 3 and would like someone local to Portsmouth to install it for me, any recommendations?
It's some years since I fitted one, but I seem to recall that it didn't come with a lead to connect to my plotter. I had to buy a plug and solder the lead. Whilst to some of us it's easy, others are not necessarily technically minded and making a lead isn't easy for them. I have helped quite a number of people out who can't get their head around connecting TX to RX connecting radios to plotters etc. All supplied with leads. It's a very simple DIY installation, the manual has the connection details.
Mike at Ocean Electronics based at Haslar Marina might be able to help.
