Re-proofing leather sailing boots

My Orca Bay sailing boots are letting the damp in. Has anyone had any success re-proofing leather sailing boots, and did they retain their 'breathability'?

There are various ointments you can apply to leather to improve things, but often the main ‘waterproofness’ comes from a breathable membrane underneath the leather uppers, and once this goes that’s yer lot really.

I chucked our manky old tin of Dubbin out a couple of weeks ago, otherwise PHB could have had it.

Yes, anything like that to put some oil or wax back into the leather.

Probably dubbin. Got some in the house.
It was losing the breathability that bothered me. From new, these Orca boots have been great at keeping my feet dry, either from the external elements or sweaty feet.
