Does anyone know if the raymarine rudder position sensor is a linear potentiometer, looking at adding rudder position to autohelm but at over £110 looking at other options. It 3 wire output so looks possible

Yes would be interested if you still have itI think I have one in the garage which I took off the boat when I replaced the previous Wheelpilot. I you are interested I'll hoak it out and send a pic.
Don’t know of CN, have you a link?you can get ready made whole assemblies from CN for under 20quid. I'm using them as custom gear selector sensors so don't mind if they're 5 10 or 20KOhm. Will try to remember and measure one today at the boat and let you know.
Tell me, but in these sensors there are only two wires (resistance 0-190 Ohm), and Raymarine pipes three wires. How did you resolve this issue? I will be grateful for the answer.sorry, mean China and ebay.
If you search ebay for :
DC 12v/24v Stainless Steel Plastic Rudder Angle Indicator Sensor
you'll get a few. Decent quality, identical to some VDO ones on sale for a few times more.
