I'm looking to fit a ray 250 ais unit coupled to my C80 via a Furuno GPS.
What's needed to connect it up and get it working?

Most stuff needed is included in the box, it has an on board 0183 multiplexer, so if you already have an 0183 (in or out) device connected to your C80 then that should not cause an issue with the single baud rate the 80 is capable of as you can pass it through the AIS. Unless you really want to or find your VHF reception is degraded you don't really an extra antenna as it has its own splitter but you will obviously need to provide a cable for that, either by splitting the cable and installing new connectors or just using a new cable and disconnecting the one at the VHF to use for the in on the splitter.
