Ratheon 10x Radar problems

My radar is playing up,anyone know a service agent in uk,its about 10-12 years old. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

What is it doing, or not doing?

The monitor seems to work ok for 1-2mins then no targets or rebounds [or whatever the tec term is] are shown although all settings work ok,if its turned off then back on,all settings work'but no targets.Ive checked the radome,looks ok and revolves ok /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The Magnetron is likely to be burnt out, was a common failing in the X products as they were overdriven. Sometimes the Mic goes, but less often.

Maggies and mic's are still available at not to much cost. JRC parts and use by most radar makers even now!
