Rate these boats

I'm looking for a 24ish foot sports cruiser. One problem I have living in the north east of england is the limited nmber of boats around, making it difficult to get a feel for what's about and what different boats are like.

I'm planning some trips to view soon.

What do you think of these contenders?

1996 chris craft crown 25
1997 rinker 240 fiesta vee
1997 sea ray 240

I personally would like to get a sea ray but prices are a tiny bit over my budget.

Go for a Fairline Holiday and then budget to put a brand new Diesel Engine in it.

Best of all worlds - IMHO

I am biased cause i own a Rinker, Think they are great boat, very well made, And froom experience, i say they handle a lot better than the Searay.

Think that might be a bit expensived, I would guess looking at the boats a budget of £20 to £25k

How do you like the S25? I currently have the F44 but am looking to go smaller so that I can easily trailer the boat away from Windermere to open the engines up.

At the moment I am looking at the S25 or the Bayliner 2655 (which I have owned before) the only thing that puts me off the S25 is the access to the aft cabin and if the diesel engine will be quick enough. Would be interested in your thoughts.
