Perhaps the Rampart club is no more?

There was an online register of Silvers boats, that disappeared, I started a thread in the wood and classic section here on ybw to serve as a virtual meeting point for Silvers and John Bains, seems to find people.

Perhaps worth having a Rampart thread?

I was (briefly) involved in the resotoration of a Rampart 48 called Tudora. She is still moored in Falmouth.

Thanks Ben, I thought the same. I was trying to contact them over some plans that we gave them on loan. Would love to have them back.

The Rampart Owners Club is alive, well and thriving and the gentleman taking over Tudora from the Turn to Starboard Charity has been in touch to join.
Our records show Tudora as built in 1964 for a Mr Perkins of Lymington and her original name was Tamarack..
But we do have Sydina 1 as being built in 1963, renamed as Pachrida. and last known in Shannon.
Both boats Model d14, but Sydina slightly shorter at 47' rather than 48'.
Uptodate info. on Sydina woiuld be greatly appreciated. Simon / ROC
