NO and does this mean you skip on other things that cost money, like safety gear and perhaps a little training in being a responsible citizen, far less a responsible sailor?
Well no one can complain about me not trying my best to get radio threads over 100. They may complain of other things about me but not that /forums/images/icons/smile.gif.
Leaves are falling all around, It's time I was on my way.
Thanks to you, I'm much obliged for such a pleasant stay.
But now it's time for me to go. The autumn moon lights my way.
For now I smell the rain, and with it pain, and it's headed my way.
Sometimes I grow so tired, but I know I've got one thing I got to do...
[Chorus]
Ramble On, And now's the time, the time is now, to sing my song.
I'm goin' 'round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way.
I've been this way ten years to the day, Ramble On,
Gotta find the queen of all my dreams.
Got no time to for spreadin' roots, The time has come to be gone.
And to' our health we drank a thousand times, it's time to Ramble On.
[Chorus]
Mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom I hold dear.
How years ago in days of old, when magic filled the air.
T'was in the darkest depths of Mordor, I met a girl so fair.
But Gollum, and the evil one crept up and slipped away with her, her, her....yeah.
[Chorus]
Gonna ramble on, sing my song. Gotta keep-a-searchin' for my baby...
Gonna work my way, round the world. I can't stop this feelin' in my heart
Gotta keep searchin' for my baby. I can't find my bluebird!
Nope ---- never heard of them, are they a band or something?

Thats the one. Didn't realise 'til now that Gollum was mentioned in it - so one can learn from even rambling posts - must have a listen.
For someone who claims to have a catholic collection of music I have now found both Jim Reeves and Led Zep (croon/swoon and rock opposites I have to say) who you claim no knowledge of - is there anything in between you know - how about Roger Whittaker?
What about some musicky ones that sail - Bob Dylan, Simon Le Bon, David Crosby, etc you must have heard them on the radio (that last reference just to keep the thread on track)?
Have to admit that I didn't know the gollum reference either until I read the lyrics! New Zealand and lotr topical!
Roger who?
Actually, have to admit to a very eclectic collection, everything from early Led Zepplin, through to early music such as Abbess Hildegard ( pre-gregorian chant) via 50's 60's 70's and beyond, and a lot of classical, and jazz and blues. Not much I haven't listened to, and my collection reflects that
