It has just been announced that next month they will be trying to remove the remains of the dredger that they failed to do a few weeks ago. They have ordered from China what they call "balloons" - presumably buoyancy bags. It's going to be a tedious affair because it is in 1m at low and there is, at best, a 3m rise.
The newspaper said that the wreck is damaged in two places but didn't explain if it was hoped to lift it whole.
Being in the Armona channel it's a hazard but buoyed.

I'll be down there next week probably. Is it in the actual entrance or outside and do you know if there is plenty of room to get past?
