I have seen the perfect boat but am stuck that its on brokerage and I have to sell mine, so any tips or advice on how should try and get a quick sale, ive already got it on Boatsandoutboards

many thanks for any help on this

Put it for sale for £1.

Kidding aside, it's as much to do with the boat and what you ask for it as where you put it.

Post the link to the advert, and folk will tell you how you have written it all wrong /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif..........whilst you get some free advertising /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I might be selling a foam filled rubbber dinghy next week, would you be interested? possibly by next week it will have been "improved" beyond all recognition /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif one careful owner, and me.

I am no expert, but I think it is over priced, to sell on the open market I think it should be near £15k for a quick sale, including the trailer.

If you look on Boatsandoutboards there are other 232, one at £15k and one at £17k, not looked at them and I am sure yours is better spec/equipment but like second hand cars it just makes it more desiriable not worth a great deal more.

I have been looking to buy a trailerable boat but realised I don't use mine enough so can't justify another!!

that it is a fast boat that is why I have since updated the ad to fix it, most boats have the 220hp 5liter engine the extra on the 5.7 you do notice even just slightly.
Its a good boat just ive seen another boat and ticks many of all the boxes looking for in a boat

Sorry to hear you are selling her, I'm sure you are enjoying her that much, that you now want a bigger boat, to make things easier, eh?

The price isn't bad, but may just be a grand too high, and with the Trailer £1500 to high. But not many of those type of boats available round our parts, so you might be lucky.

Good luck, and i can't wait to hear about the new boat.

Cheers

Al.

Really enjoying the boat, took it out on saturday ended up spending the night over at arran, ive still to see one the boats up here for sale, I have changed my ad but still waiting on it being updated

stayed on the visitor bouys at Brodick, was quite a calm night other than the people leaving the pubs at 2am. came back across at about 10am decent weekend,
how was calmac crossing?

Thats a pity we missed you, was in Brodick from 1330 onwards, and got the 1640 home, was a lovely calm sail, very warm, we stayed up on deck the whole way across.
Was sitting at Bilslands looking at all the different sorts of boats on the swing mooring, hoping mine would be there one day!!!

Kepp me posted when you are next over, we're there quite a lot now the parents have bought a holiday home there.

Cheers

Al.

you will have to move that boat to the coast then save on the ferry charges, but will do keep informed of next trip over. its usely a good sail over and doesnt take long
