Hi
I’ve got this on the boat and not too sure what it does. I understand it is an Ais receiver that I could link to give Ais data.

However I’m not tech savvy. A multiplexor. Yep I’ve no idea what that is. The previous owner said he used it for Wi-Fi.

Tried to Bluetooth to it and no luck. Only one light on. Anyone else got one of these and what do they primarily use it for?

Hi Steve. I have a Quark AIS receiver. It's very easy to set up if you have a tablet or phone with WiFi. I don't use the NMEA connection. You just look in the WiFi list on your device and it will have Quark listed. You will need the WiFi password, I believe the default is 88888888. The data will then automatically overlay on most chart apps such as Navionics. Quark are very helpful if you phone them.
Hope this helps.
