Anyone bidding!
Big Plumbs hasn't increased his fleet recently
On a similar vein Dilbar the worlds largest by vol SY back in March was originally impounded in Germany .It was at a yard large enough for its 500+ feet .Ex WW2 Bismark et al Yard .
A murky ownership history revelled it ownership was transferred to his sisters trust in Switzerland. It slipped away ( legally) and went to Turkey .Needed its annual finishing .Ergodon ( Turkish premier ) having sat on the fence watching the “ little military operation “ unfold next door , slanted towards the western sanctions etc .
While in a Turkish yard a dry dock for this size they removed the props + shafts - capped over the holes and re floated it .
It now at anchor in a nearby by bay in Turkish waters .It ain’t going no where now !
Paper work wise took a while they have worked through the legals the murky” sisters trusts “ figured out who the beneficiaries are and established it qualifies for santions.
Dilbar used to have a berth in Antibes btw .
Mean while back in the normal world in Italy in Loana they have tapped off a 50 ftr mobo and sequestered it .The Italians have been quick out of the blocks changing laws to allow Russian assets to be grabbed , sorry “sanctioned “
Infact a whole private island Gallinara near by .It changed hands a few years back ( approx 3 ?) to a Russian for iirc €15 M .
Now the town of Alassio has regained ownership .Town plans to open it up for tourism in a eco way .
Super yacht news .Must have had them put back in or tugged ? Legal wrangling on going .Watch this space .
It will be another one then as I said ^ .It’s been parked in the Hamburg dry dock ever since the sanctions started. It was about to have a paint job.
Yes + no .This isn’t being auctioned because it’s Russian, the owner hasn’t paid the monthlies on it….so the finance company are auctioning it.
