pathfinder \"group\" and glen rosa

There is the possibilty that some kilt-wearing peeps may only be available on the 4th/5th and so might go on the early trip. Possibly. Any other boats up for that weekend?

Cherbourg trip

Sorry if I've lost the plot (or rather the thread) somewhere along the way but I've been looking for a dedicated forum in the meeting section, as advised by JJ, and it's not there.

So, which weekend is it, as I may be able to make it.

Is anyone else sailing from the Plymouth area?

If you're not involved and want to be, please PM me.

Sail training

Are we doing a Sail Training Association-style boat swap on the way back?
tcm has to cook in a non-linear galley;
alec sails under the blue ensign of the Royal Old Gaffers YC;
Steve101 sails a yacht without a flat screen TV and surround sound;
violetta sails a yacht with a TV and surround sound permanently tuned to MTV
mirelle sails a foam sandwich built Bermudan-rigged Whitbread 30
Claymore sails aboard an English-speaking yacht
NigeCh sails a yacht with running hot water
tome will sail New York Clipper and teach them a few go faster tricks
..........
and if I could sell the TV rights for "Yachtswap" I'd make enough money to buy my first yacht!

Ken, I would like to join if you'll 'ave us. Boat and at present, three crew. (Me and sons 17 & 21). Boat is Ben 36CC. Still working on crew but might have space for someone with experience enough for a night watch.

At best, depart Chi v. late Thurs 9th/v. early Fri 10th. Return early Sun 12th. At worst, depart early evening on 10th - back early Sun.

So, currently three for bun fight.

At the risk of confusion, I'll repeat the post on the Cherbourg forum.
