I just had my boat out at Shotley. About £24 a metre for lift-out, pressure washing, cradling for a week or so, and re-launch. Excellent value!

Not exactly the Orwell but Titchmarsh are doing a mid-season lift and scrub for £10.80 per metre plus VAT until the end of September.

Sounds odd, it only draws about 2.5m doesn't it? There should normally be more than that over the sill.

My HR34 has bumped over the sill at low water once. Marina depth isn't normally 2.7m minimum, often less.

I'd have thought you'd have no problem getting through the lock at high water or thereabouts. There may be a lack of depth in the hoist bay, I suppose.

I've waited outside on a number of occasions until there's been around 2.2m over the sill - I need 2m. No need to cut it fine, the lock-keepers are happy to tell you how much water there is over the sill.

Talk to Phil at Ipswich Haven, he's normally able to make a plan and they were certainly doing summer deals last year. Your draft will be fine there.
