Probably a silly question - anyone know if a “summer lift out” deal on the Orwell this year?

I just had my boat out at Shotley. About £24 a metre for lift-out, pressure washing, cradling for a week or so, and re-launch. Excellent value!

I was spurned! Spurned, I tell you! Told to take my custom elsewhere! As soon as I said she drew 2.7 metres…?

I'd have thought you'd have no problem getting through the lock at high water or thereabouts. There may be a lack of depth in the hoist bay, I suppose.

My HR34 has bumped over the sill at low water once. Marina depth isn't normally 2.7m minimum, often less.

I've waited outside on a number of occasions until there's been around 2.2m over the sill - I need 2m. No need to cut it fine, the lock-keepers are happy to tell you how much water there is over the sill.
