New cockpit upholstery arrived last night. Thanks to Martin of MJM Boats of Essex. I went for the Newer V50 Style and it’s came out brilliant. More cushions coming I’ve heard.

No worries.Thank you. Okay I’m all good now. Understand this fully. I’m running all zones AC on shore power 1 with 32 amps. So all good. Thanks all.
Pedant modeIf you divide your generator KW by 250 that will tell you how many amps it provides. In our case 17KW is about 70 amps if you get stuck !
I’m afraid I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to say or be pedantic about. The onboard generators are measured in kilowatts. In our case it’s 17 kilowatts. I was trying to put that into the context of shore power which is measured in Amps.Pedant mode
It's generator W not Kw

I suspect the point is that 17 divided by 250 is 0.068 which isn't very many amps.I’m afraid I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to say or be pedantic about. The takeaway being that if all else fails run your generator which will most likely have a greater capacity than the shore power.
Correct except its 230 volt which is more ampsI suspect the point is that 17 divided by 250 is 0.068 which isn't very many amps.
17000 divided by 250 is 68amps.![]()
I was simply using the numbers stated in #142.Correct except its 230 volt which is more amps
You said divide Kw by 250, which is incorrect, it should be divide watts by volts.I’m afraid I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to say or be pedantic about. The onboard generators are measured in kilowatts. In our case it’s 17 kilowatts. I was trying to put that into the context of shore power which is measured in Amps.

But it isn't close.Multiple Kw by 3 is close enough to determine amps on 240 volt.
Ah, I see. I had assumed that was obvious as per my circa 70 amps figure but clearly not. Well at least there’s no doubt now.I suspect the point is that 17 divided by 250 is 0.068 which isn't very many amps.
17000 divided by 250 is 68amps.![]()
Looking good! Not nearly enough scatter cushions a la @jfm thoughNew cockpit upholstery arrived last night. Thanks to Martin of MJM Boats of Essex. I went for the Newer V50 Style and it’s came out brilliant. More cushions coming I’ve heard.![]()

Silvertex White. Great comms throughout the order. Took 4 weeks to get done, busy company. Worth the wait though. He re-foamed an interior cushion as well for us. The interior saloon seat cushion nearest the patio tends to get used a lot with people sitting on the edge putting on shoes etc so had a bit of a sag. That looks great now as well.Very nice![]()
Martin/MJM = great company/team.
What is the exact upholstery fabric? Looks like Silvertex "ice" but that's a bit of a guess.
