Torn between buying a p360 or 410.Swaying towards the 410 at the moment does anyone have any experience of the TAM 62 340Hp and TAM 71 380HP engines or indeed the Cat 355HP which were 3 of the options available, anyone know anything about the 410 in general, has anybody had one?.The other alternative is a 360 with the 63Ps 370 HP.Any advice greatly appreciated.

got tam 71bs 380 hp in 45 footer, been excellent. Done loads of hours cos apart from bringing boat from uk to Algarve we have been chartering her for last 4 years. We get 30 knots tops. Do have her properly serviced whenever due. Never had problem

I dont know the others first hand but I would rate the 63ps highly. They're big slow revving lumps, cruise at 2000rpm kind of thing. Ours had 550 hours in and 5 years, no problems. They are clean and pretty smoke free, even on cold start. Only catch is they are not the most economical by today's standards - they have no EDC or EVC. We got about 1mpg at 22 knots with a pair of them in 42 footer
