Well its £6,600 at the moment with 5 days to go. guess some dreamer is going to pay way over the odds assuming reserve is met and we see it on Ebay again next year.

I was doing some boat maths…..purchase price plus 15k-20k (Excluding labour obviously ) could get you a battery hybrid powered river boat in good order if you have the skills. Probably exit out at 35-40k to the right buyer but it’s a fairly narrow market in land only

I don't understand the mindset this guy is not alone, there are many stripped out project boats for sale where to rebuild the interior has become a huge abandoned task with costs out weighing value,.

All the templates have been thrown away making it double hard for the next owner, its wrapped exterior will soon look tired and as the owner proudly stated its not had a survey but then there is not much of it left to survey. the small engine is also a strike against it, although stripped of all the excess weight it probably has a bit of pace

About a foot higher...unless there is an opening in the transom that I don’t see

As Bouba said, higher 1. So you don't have to hurdle over the transom and 2. So you can keep a tender on the platform

I'm in the process of brining my P33 Mk2 back to a reasonable standard, but this guy was braver than me.

I dont have anything rotten on my boat, so I'm simply sanding walls to re-varnish, putting in new galley and heads worktops, new taps and sinks, new electronic toilet and doing fairly sympathetic improvements to not lose the original charm of her. I wouldnt mind the bow and stern thrusters this P35 has though. A lot of people tell me I dont need them having twin engines on shafts, but I'm still tempted to fit them.

even doing the minimal work, I've been out the water for a year, soda blasting the hull, re-epxying, anti fouling etc etc. This P35 wont be a quick project and Im glad I already have mine as otherwise I would have been naively tempted, believing this would be a 12m project.
