Just changed my fleetguard FF105c filters on AD41’s. There wasn’t the small rubber seal on the old ones.
I have fitted the seal on the replacement filters. Is this correct?

I am not familiar with the filter number you quote, but we fit quite a few f/g fuel filters at work, and they all now come with the seal for the threaded stub, and I am sure a few years ago they did not, lots do not realise and just bin them.
I would hazard a guess the extra seal is down to the introduction of common rail syatems?
