posting pictures

I very nearly got the hang of picture posting before the forum change. What method are you using now? As I'm using the laptop, what's the easiest way to upload from Google Photos?

I don’t know google but I use postimage.org its very easy to use (although it’s down at the moment but these are strange times).
Just to prove how easy it is to use, here’s a picture of my dog explaining to someone how to post photos

try using the “attach files” button below the message box you type in.

as long as they are not huge photo files....should work

You can use "snipping tool" on a pc to grab a section of the screen.

Then press ctrl+c to copy it, and then paste it ctrl+v into the post .... if it is too big or you get an error, then save it to your desktop from snipping tool - this usually creates a very compact file.

Use the attach image button ....


... and either drag the file into the drop image box or navigate to it with a file browser by "clicking here" as instructed.

On a phone or tablet, a screen grab and crop saved to your device achieves the same - then just navigate to the saved image to insert it.

Yes click on that box in post #4 ^^ .......them your own pic files come up .

I reduce large pics to around 400kb and thyen I can upload direct via the Picture Icon halfway along above where I'm typing now ...

Or I use Photobucket where I archive most of my stuff and then I copy the IMG link from there .. paste it in here ..

Most people have stopped using Photobucket

PB lost servers as many know before Christmas in a power out. Took them till now to get my site back up ... But I still have trouble with it ... folders refusing to open ... etc

I am now looking to dump Photobucket .... but I have so many photos uploaded there ... its a daunting prospect.

Plus I have not found another site that can provide similar to what PB used to ....
