My polycarbonate windows have gone cloudy on the outside due to scuff marks from shoes etc. Does anyone know if it is possible to polish the marks out and then lacquer them?

Its good stuff - DTD 770A as used on spitfire canopies and if you don't happen to own a spitfire - it works just as well on caravan and boat windows!!

Yes you can polish them - you can actually treat them like GRP and sand them through finer grades, right up to 3000 grit (wet and dry , light pressure so as not to generate heat and actually melt the surface) and then there are a number of T Cut type liquid polishes to finish off with specially designed for plastic . Google for specific brands (as I'm not on the boat I can't for the life of me remember which one I used but worked well and was whatever the chandlery had in)

Obviously, you do not use lacquer on polycarbonate. The solvents cause crazing.
Just wax or another compatible protectant.
