Now in good shape again after a change in ownership earlier this year, more character and atmosphere than I remember
This is a nice friendly local pub, just a stones throw away from the Barbican in Lambhay Street.
They offer good value pub grub, well cooked, decent portions and beautifully presented.
We enjoyed dinner there last week and will definitely return.

Oh yes! I so love the Chicken Breast Burger! It tastes just fine and not too much greasy as most burgers are. Will be visiting the pub this weekend!

Not so easy to find but well worth the effort. Excellent Sunday roast, good beers and reasonably priced wines, plus a friendly efficient service. Already been 3 times in just over a week!
