Hi - My wife and I went there yesterday lunch time after being at Essex marina.
The service and more importantly the food was of a very high standard and proper home cooked non of the Ding Ding rubbish that you would get at "chained pubs"

We will be definitely visiting again hopefully soon.

It's a very good pub, known for its great food. Shuts in the afternoon though, worth bearing in mind as not so common these days.
