Hi!

I'm hoping people out there would be kind enough to help me out.

I'm looking for any photos of Hustlers under way or afloat for a web site I'm putting together about the Holman & Pye designed Hustler boats. I've been scouring the web but there aren't many images of Hustlers afloat out there.

I would be most grateful if any current or ex Hustler owners could forward any photos that they may have of Hustlers under sail or moored.

Every photo I use on the site will have a credit to the photo contributor or owner. In addition I will also blur out any faces to maintain the privacy of individuals aboard. As a minimum I will mention the boat name if known.

I hope there are current or ex owners out there that can help me.

Please PM me if you have any images that you feel you could spare for inclusion in the site galleries.

Many thanks

hello
I own a 1971 hustler 30. Fantastic boat. Done some long runs in it. East Coast UK to West coast Ireland. Scotland and back and still win a few races.
PM me and I'll send you some pics. I am very interetsed in an owners forum/site.

When you say Hustler, are you referıng to all hustlers, or specıfıcally Holman & Pye desıgns?
If ıt ıs Holman & Pye, do you mean all theır Hustler desıgns (25.5,30 & 35)?
If ıt ıs all ınclusıve? As I mentıoned before there ıs an owners group for 25.5's at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Hustler25point5/
Wıth at least 14 boats regıstered and multıple photos of same.

Yes, I mean all Holman & Pye Hustler Designs.

I am intending for this to be all inclusive for 25.5, 30 and 35's. For example I know there is a H35 site already in which case I'll be linking to it. I'll also be setting up a forum area specifically for Hustlers so bikedaft can link back into that from his own site.

I am aware of the group as I found it tucked away on the Yahoo pages the other night and more than happy to link to it if the organisers of the group would allow.

My intention is to provide a central point where people can go and be directed where appropriate. I've got plenty of hosting space spare and competent web skills. On other boat associations (Notably Westerly, Leisure and Sadler to name a few) the common connection between all the various boats is the manufacturer, brand and model. Frequently there are technical articles appearing for one model of boat that can also apply to others with a tweak here and there. It's this spirit I want to capture and share for all Hustler owners.

I'm not asking for money from anyone I'm merely interested in keeping this classic boat alive. If other owners feel the same way then great if not it doesn't matter.

I was going to do this anyway for the Hustler 30 but I thought rather than keep my web expertise and hosting capacity for one model why not cover them all? It benefits all owners whatever Hustler they have. I'm about to undergo a refit of my H30 and I thought what better way to start the articles than to share my experience?

As I've said before this site is to allow past, present and future owners to communicate about this excellent boat.

The site I'm about to bring online will cover:

- Profile of each of the boats (For H35 direct link to Bikedaft's site and for H25.5's too if wanted)
- Links to reviews
- History of Holman and Pye
- Boat Gallery
- Focus On - This is a little area where an Owners boat is featured the story is told about it's history and modifications that have been made. I've seen some truly beautiful examples of these boats which owners are proud of so why not share the story?
- Links to other relevant sites
- Technical How to areas (e.g. my first will be sound proofing the engine box!)
- Owners Area Only - Hoping to create an owners register which details past boat names too so we capture that history
- Forum dedicated to Hustlers only

and finally....

- Events, I don't know about you but I think all our boats are unique and I'm pretty interested in meeting other owners and looking at what we've all done.

I hope that's given an idea of where I'm coming from. IMO this has been long overdue for the Hustler.

Hi. I have some photos of my Hustler 30 "Corinth Mistral" (now sold - fantastic, pretty boat and much missed) and will happily send to you - please PM me your email address. Also, the boat was featured in June or July 2009 Yachting Monthly, so there is a (very favourable) review and some photos there too. The boat was ex "Mistral of Scarborough", one of the original first batch of boats commissioned in July 1969.
At present there is also a Hustler 25.5 for sale in Woodrolfe Brokerage (in very nice condition) in Tollesbury called "Red Baron" so there will be some photos on the brokers website.
Hope that helps.

I'd very much appreciate the photos of Corinth Mistral. I read the review of her and I very nearly bought her when she was up for sale a few years ago :)

PM on the way.

Photos of Hustler 25.5

Dear Captain Haddock,

As Steve Layton (Satsuma) mentioned in his eralier thread there is a site which I created around 3 years ago for Hustler 25.5 owners (an interested parties)

http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Hustler25point5/

The site has photos of a number of boats. I have a database of around 15 members and have tracked down the whereabouts of around 35 boats still sailing though there are a few more around the S coast of England I haven't tracked down. The site is a little short on technical articles but there is some techy stuff there. I found that unfortunaltrely the main buolders E.C. Landamores were limited in what they have in their archives.

If I can be of help drop me an email t

Hello - I just wanted to ask if you still have your boat. My partner and I bought Missile in 1993 and sold her a few years later to someone on the west coast of the UK - just wondering if you had our old boat? Best wishes Mia
