Plastimo tender oars

Only 3 years old but the spring clips which hold the 2 section oars together have developed a problem. It seems that the hole in the one section has got too big! Thus the little s/steel button has popped out and one has been lost.
Anyone got any handy tips? CAn I get spares or will I have to bolt the oars together permanently?

yep - if they aren't washed off everytime they corrode the hole bigger very quickly.......
good news is that I believe they are a common fitting with quicksilver (the oars certainly are) so you might well get a 'spare' somewhere. I have a broken half somewhwere as well and will check if it's the bit with the spring and try and remember to send it if it is, sometime.........
