Places to go around Shepperton this w/e

Moved Elle to Shepperton last w/e. Any one know of anything going on or places to go around that area this w/e?

Hi Martin,
Dont know where you were moored previously but you've just missed Sunbury Regatta (last weekend) and I 'm not aware of anything particular taking place this weekend in either direction from Shepperton.
I keep my P32 at Bates Marina at Chertsey (next lock above Shepperton)and we will certainly be out and about - probably upriver but not definite yet. Favourite short weekend for us is Hampton Court and Kingston (Sunday morning shopping - beats parking!) or Windsor/Runnymede. Would be happy to try and enlighten you in more detail if you give me a call - have PM'd you my number.

Hi B1,

Sety orf from St Kats saturday morning. Refuelled at Westminster, made Boater Inn for lunch (V drunk followed by Skippers sleep in the afternoon ). Made Shepperton for about 4 just in time to get mooring at 6 and witness best river party I have ever seen........Much better than Henley IMHO...specially the "Illuminated Sail Past" and fireworks...Drunk for the 2nd time in one day so no wonder I was V happy to reurn to the Non Tidal Waters ....what a night!

For that reason we decided to give the lower Thames a try and not go back to Marlow. So we are currently trying to swap our harleyford bank mooring for a Shepperton one..

Wondered if there were any other good riverside pubs / places we should try in the area? Will give you a call..
