Gary - sorry I missed your call last evening.
On the last positions George and Alan were 68miles apart - a long way in sailing hours and with George ahead of Alan it means George changing course and slowing down his advance on the Azores in order that Alan could catch up. I guess that he will settle for using a bit of rope to lash the tiller while he sleeps etc and just helm by hand for the next 3 days.
