Photo\'s

Hi guys.

I have a load of photo's now of our Targa 37, I wonder if someone might oblige with both advice and maybe a camera holding operation over the forthcoming weekend somehow, somewhere, in order that we may get some high speed action shots of Pipedream around the Solent.

Starting a 5 day RYA course with George this Friday, so we will be out on the water a lot untill Tuesday evening.

Anyone, Anyone, Anyone................???
Please!

Cheers

Re: Photo\'s

Best shots are from the biggest semi displacement you can get, they create a huge wake to play in /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Boat taking the shot needs to hold the course steady while you cross in the wake and overtake at WOT but never go past or your wash will make it impossible for a steady shot.

You need to check the sun is behind the other boat or you will end up as a silhouette.

Dont forget to remove all your covers/fenders, they stick out like a sore thumb.

You need to get close for the best shots.

pm sent as to our plans this weekend but you would be better to get a broom for a big wake /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I got some great shots last week but they are on my other lap top, calm water and reflection at 25knts.

How does a brush help?

Re: Photo\'s

Semi dis boats

People get larger and larger engines in an attempt to exceed 17 knts

What they dont realise is 17knts is the top wack but by increasing power more and more water is pulled by the props so the log starts to read 20 knots , as the hull is only actually doing 17knts all the water builds into a sodding great tsunami wake, next time you pass one try to look through the smoke screen and you may catch a glimpse of it /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
