You are thinking of mixing ethanol (pure alcohol as in Origo stoves) , hydrogen peroxide, and glycerin but the ethanol must not have "denaturing" chemicals such as pyridine, methanol, denatonium (Bitrex ) added as these are poisonous and taste awful. Proportions are 830:42:15 BTW for DIY sanitiser.

Oh well, time to dig out the bottle of isopropyl alcohol that was being disposed of when the ambulance service I worked for stopped using it. I thought it would be for cleaning tape heads, but my tapes all got turned into CDs shortly after, so it's still lurking in my workshop somewhere. 50ml of IPA plus a few drops of glycerine as a moisturiser in an empty sanitiser bottle should do it!

Mark-1's right, though. Even without a developing epidemic, Aldi on a Sunday morning's bad for the health.
