Passage time

Due to delays and pre-arranged flights, I am looking to sail from the south coast UK to Faro, Portugal. I have about 18 days to complete the trip. I know this will be a delivery type sail rather than a cruise but is it a reasonable amount of time.
I know I can't allow for storms, such as today, and contary winds, but does it sound reasonable? The boat is a 40' catamaran but not a fast one!

um, it's only 1100 miles, so yep, i wd say it is do-able in delivery mode with ease in 18 days. But if the 18 days starts today, then you need to waate a few days here before setting off with better weather. But still doable.
