Is there such a thing ? I'm having to sell my Seal 28 and am at a loss as to what to ask for it. It was bought 3 years ago for 16K and although it has been reasonably well maintained I guess realistically it need a couple of expensive bits replacing ( sails and standing rigging ), though what's currently fitted is perfectly servicable for the time being. A quick trawl though t'Interweb gives a huge variation in prices, recent ones being much lower than older prices. I've seen a much nicer looking one than mine for 10,500. Has mine really depreciated 6K over 3 years ?!?! Or is that just because of current market conditions ?

The boat has to go, I can't afford to store it unused while I work abroad ( Singapore ) for the next few years.

I am assuming that if given to a broker to sell then I don't pay storage costs while it is stored on their forecourt or am I totally mistaken ?

Current market, it is not a good time to be selling a boat.

You will pay storage whilst the boat is with a broker, but you may be able to get a deal with a lift out that is better than the stndard rate ashore, Deacons, for example, often have brokerage deals.
