Hi All,

The coach roof on my Dehler 31 has a blue stripe on either side and it is looking a bit shabby so I am thinking of repainting it and I have a couple of questions.

What sort of paint should I use?

What is the best tape to use for masking it off and to keep a clean edge?

That looks like a really good solution only problem is I don't think it is UV resistant. Have you tried yourself?

I have one side done now for over a year and it looks as good as day one. The other side I still have to fit, but fitting weather is sailing weather so its not happened yet :D

If you google up I am sure there are out door grades as used on cars, boat wrapping etc. My thought is for 40 odd quid every few years to keep it that good its better than paint.

I'd prefer a two pack polyurethane myself. It'll resist abrasion much better than one pot paint or adhesive plastic film.

I sell "adhesive plastic film" to protect 2 pack polyurethabe paint from abrasion and stone chips. Like paint, not all "plastic" films are the same......
