Just a quick one before I leap in the car to get down to the boat.
What paint (and where do I get it from) do I use to paint my new ships dodgers. its the normal type of dodgers cotton canvas.... if that makes sense. I can get a stencil made up in Colchester, Its just the type of white paint that I need.
Have a good weekend

My new boat has a dark blue stripe along the hull. The dodgers were light blue with the name in white. Tthe hood and the sail cover and the uv strip were dark blue. When I had completed the purchase I unstiched the sewn letters of the old name, and painted the dodgers with acrylic vynil paint which I had mixed to match from B & Q. It cost £8 Then I created some stencils on the PC, and painted the new name in white. Acrylic Vynil. Looks great. Ever tried moving DRIED acrylic paint off fabric? It wont shift!

You can paint ont PVC dodgers but will have to sew on letters if you have Acrylic dodgers. Mine are painted on to PVC - just made sure the PVC was clean and used a small tin of red enamel paint.
