We are liveaboards looking at overwintering in Turkey next year, 2014/15, and would be grateful for marina recommendations and approximate prices for a 15 metre yacht.
We have 15m mono in Didim marina. http://www.d-marin.com/web/35-143-1-1/dmarin_en/dmarin_didim/dmarin_didim/access
5 star place!
12 month contract £3900GBP includes discount for CA membership.

Can highly recommend Finike, part of the Setur group. Good shelter, great liveaboard community well supported by the office, pleasant town (non-touristy, low local prices), spectacular surroundings. Finike (and Kas, whose base price is higher) have a special winter 'campaign' such that a 16m x 4.7m yacht would pay €2165 for 180 days in winter. A 15m yacht would pay maybe €400 less than that, depending on beam. See: http://www.seturmarinas.com/en/index.php?page=price-calculation
There is a price calculator on the Setur site but it seems not to take account of this discount.
What effect on prices any mass influx from Greece might have we await with interest.
£80 a week to park a boat?
You get what you pay for!
Didim:
Yacht club, 5 star restaurant, carrefour supermarket on site, laundry on site, beach club includes bar and private beach, awesome security with 24/7/365 manned barriers, health club, gym. We don't live aboard so the security is important when we're not there and the luxury is very welcome when are.
All considered £3900 is a very very good deal in my book.
It's a Lot cheaper than a mooring on the Hamble!
There are no private beaches in Turkey by law. There may be private facilities and the hinterland may be private but "the sand" is free to everyone.

Thank you for that, they have quoted 2,180 for next winter water, elec and wifi inclusive which looks good to me :encouragement: Now all I need to understand is the Blue Card and pump out situation.

Yes Turkey is expensive and likely to become more so. However prices are still far less than UK S coast.

Good morning:
Don't think I would waste much time considering Netsel Marina in Marmaris as they have just introduced charges for electricity which in the past has been factored into the berthing charges making it a serious contender however at the moment there are forty very angry liveaboards.
People are not so much angry at the introduction of charges even though it is being introduced mid-contract for most but at the price per kilowatt demanded. For example whereas a local would pay between .12 and .32 lira per kw depending on the time of day the marina is demanding .44 Euros (1.3 lira) making for a mark up of more than 400 %. Every kw of electricity consumed makes a profit of almost a lira or more for the marina.
Of course, only the private clients will be expected to pay because the charter companies are reportedly exempt.
When requesting quotations I suggest you include this subject because it can and will add a substantial amount to your bill.
Don't expect many of those who chose to over-winter here will be back next year.
Cheers

And by saying that what do you mean, ?
I think its excessive and why take a 12 month contract? I thought the reason we have boast is because they are mobile.
I was one of the first in D marine Turgutreis, in 2004. At the time they were begging people to stay
