Any recommendations for reasonably priced shore storage in Plymouth or nearby for a 35 footer which needs to be laid up for the next 12 months?

I would discount all the large marinas as they are usually expensive, have restricted capacity or special conditions. Of the rest, in the east of the port, all operate cranes which I always find a bit dramatic, especially at 35ft, though you might consider Blagdon's as Keith has suggested. It is pretty central handy for Mayflower and has deep water.
If you are happy to be rather remote there are more places to the west. The Lynher Boatyard would probably be cheapest but it is a crane job with 6 ton capacity; I have seen larger boats up there but it is an adventure too far for me. All the others have boat hoists: Huggins either at Carbeile or Southdown, Voyager at Southdown or (as mentioned above) Treluggan. All are in some respect tidal
Treluggan may suit as there is fairly simple access from the A38 but it is a long way up a drying river.
Carbeile is easy with sufficient tide but you have to use the ferry if coming from Plymouth
Southdown is right in the sticks but will have room and is easy going, easy access on the tide. Getting electricity extra and a bit of a lottery.
Voyager is right next door and probably cheaper but you need 5m plus tide to get in and has a rather rickerty pontoon but it's ok.

I think Doug has pretty much nailed it with that post, I looked into this some time ago, I agree Voyager would be best for long term storage from a cost point of view, especially if you don’t plan to visit too often….
