Looking to next year, the Oostende voor Anker 2010 is from Thursday 27th May to Sunday 30th May.

I think we will head over on the Thursday p.m.
There was some talk of a follow on trip to St. Kats.
The tides are right for that trip the in the following week.
We will need to book St. Kats if people want to go there.

Our fine craft is definitely in for that trip.

I think we should have a full social itinerary.

Clive, are you volunteering to be Cruise Director?

I expect we will go to Oostend but not to London. We will need to fit it in with work.

I wonder if the East Coast contingent who are doing their LRC will be qualified in time for us to have a net on 2182? It's not very busy, to say the least, and will reach the whole way.

Guapa will be going to Ostend, but not to London.

As I will have plenty of leave by then, the plan's to head for Stavanger afterwards as it's - rather conveniently - just over 500NM from Ostend.

Clive, are you volunteering to be Cruise Director?

I would be happy to sort the bookings with St Kats.
To get a few boats in together we will need to commit to the trip quite some while before.

I will contact St. Kats and see what they say.

Looks like the following boats so far:-

Oostende
1. Sirenia (CliveG)
2. Full Circle
3. Wild Otter (Jomo)
4. J.B. (sailorman)
5. Guapa
6. Witchfinder (Shmoo)
7. Wunja (VinceH)
8. Sabre (MoodySabre)
9. Highland Lass (Mudplugger)
10. White Magic (Slow Boat)
11. Morgana
12. Black Magic (ChattingLil)
12a. Croix des Gardes (PyroJames)
14. Mr T (CPD)

London
1. Sirenia (CliveG)
2. Full Circle
3. Wild Otter (Jomo)?
4. Kioni
5. Sea Mist II
6. White Magic (Slow Boat)?
7. Morgana
8. Mr T (CPD)

Anymore?

Hmmm.

Ostende tempting if we had Saguday but probably not in little Kioni.

SWMBO much interested in going sarf for the first time next year from Blackwater to Crouch then Roach then to St Kats. Kioni ok for that, not sure when.

Put us down as possibles for that, depending on school holidays etc.

Might change if I get Saguday back from the States by then of course ;)

That week should be the school half term.
The plan would be Monday night in the Medway area, up to St Kats on the Tuesday, spend Wednesday in St Kats, back to Medway on the Thursday.

We were thinking of ambling down through the Roach to Havengore and cheating our way into the Thames - any one else go this way or is that for wimps?

I'll check the holidays - Somerset may or may not be on the same school time zone as Essex

Oh no, it is a very interesting little trip, and not one that can't be made in deep fin keelers. Only trouble is that you go through quite near to HW, so ebb starts pushing you out as you are trying to get to Medway. If you can get across Ray Sand about 2 hours before, you will make a nice trip from Tollesbury.
Suggest picking nice-ish day for 2 shallow crossings.:p

I have been updating the lists in the posting above of who is interested in going where.

I have sent an e-mail to St Kats asking if they can accommodate up to 10 boats.
Awaiting a response.

I think as some will be coming from Oostende and some from UK locations the best thing would be to meet at the concrete barge at Queenbrough on the evening of Monday 31st May.

Has anyone had anything from Morgana recently as he had expressed an interest in the trip the other month.
