Be very careful losing a hack saw, chisel etc or a cut can start a fracture much better to remove prop to slide it off.
Also as the rope has fused between p bracket and prop you may have over heated the cutless bearing and need to replace it.

Eek. No way could the cutlass bearing have overheated (it’s in chilly uk water) but I agree that you want to avoid a hacksaw blade touching the shaft. Hope was fixed and relaunched quickly.

All sorted and no visible distortion to "P" bracket.
My " old " boat !
What an absolute pig to maneuver onto our drying blocks with only one engine .
